Craigslist Finds: Two RX-7’s, Four Turbos

This Craigslist find features a seller offering not one, but two different 1993 RX-7’s for sale. On top of that, both of them look great and they each have a twin turbo engine!

...Club Dirty.

I have complained in the past about Craigslist posts. This post is a very detailed, thorough example of what sellers should do.

The first RX-7 mentioned is red (obviously), has a 5 speed manual, has a clean title and clean history. It has 56k miles on the chassis and a freshly rebuilt twin-turbo motor with less than 2k on the engine. The owner was $15,500 for this RX-7, which I think is a good deal. The low mileage is the key aspect in its pricing. Definitely check out a carfax report or any owner-provided receipts of work , where a shop has documented it mileage at the time of service. The engine bay looks beyond clean, and I am surprised to see the original air box still equipped.

The White RX-7 is is also a 5 speed, promising the same clean history and vehicle title. Originally brought into this world wearing red, the owner had it professionally painted "Mazda Chaste White". The black interior is in great condition, despite the 122k miles the chassis has under its belt. It also has a freshly rebuilt motor, but with no mentioned miles on the build. The rebuild apparently carries a one year warranty with whoever purchases this gem.

The higher mileage RX-7 comes equipped with a catback exhaust, Megan racing launch kit, and stainless steel brake lines. All this can be purchased for $13,500. It does not mention 'or best offer', but I would definitely see if there is some room to haggle. If you had some cash burning in your pockets, I would offer to buy the two for a lower price. Combined asking price is $29,000. I do not know what the circumstances are for him to get these sold, but normally one would post two separate posts if they had no intention to sell them together. I would offer $24,000 for both of them and see what bites. That way you would have the higher mileage one to mess around and have some fun with, while you still have an original low mileage whip chilling in your garage.

That would be some ultimate Club Dirty status.

As of the time I made the article, the ad is still up. You can get the contact information by clicking the posted picture below.
